Air Wall
A dramatic wall on the edge of the Gili shelf, dropping well past recreational depths. Medium to strong current draws schooling fish, reef sharks and the occasional pelagic, while the shallower reef top stays friendly for newer divers.
The Gili’s are three islands located about 2 hours from Bali. Gili Trawangan (often called Gili T, probably because people are too lazy to say the whole thing) and the little siblings, Gili Air and Gili Meno, are known as the most popular dive destination in Asia. (Koh Tao who?)
Diving at the Gili’s makes you a stronger diver as the conditions are varied which also means the marine life is varied and stunning.
The dive sites around the Gili’s contain so much diversity. You’ll often see cuttlefish, moray eels, clownfish, trumpetfish and much much more.
Macro lovers will love exploring in-between the topography to find seahorses, nudi branch’s, anemone crabs, and other small wonders. And of course, lots of turtles!
Join the daily dive trips on the Gili’s. There are single-tank trips at 9am, 11:30am and 2:30pm.
Certified Divers Try Scuba ExperienceThe Gili Islands are surrounded with incredible dive sites suitable for all levels from beginner Try Scuba Divers to the most Advanced Recreational and Tech Divers. You’ll see everything from schools of fish, small nudi branch’s, sting rays, reef sharks, manta rays, and of course TURTLES!

Bio Rocks on east Gili T is a shallow dive ideal for macro life like pipefish, frogfish, flatworms and crustaceans. These artificial reef structures support coral growth, boost biodiversity and help restore fragile marine ecosystems.
Off west Gili Meno, the Bounty Wreck sits from 10 to 16 metres and is covered in soft corals, attracting drummerfish, scorpionfish and even pygmy seahorses. This old sunken platform and the nearby reefs host turtles and schools of glass fish, an easy and rewarding dive for all levels.
Coral Basket on north Gili T ranges from 5 to 40 metres, with shallow coral formations home to triggerfish, snappers, baby white tip sharks and angelfish. Deeper ridges and cliffs may reveal eagle rays, reef sharks and stingrays, making it a dive for all levels.
Good Heart, the house reef between Gili Trawangan and Meno, slopes into the channel with healthy corals and bio rock structures. It is packed with life from macro critters and frogfish to turtles and reef sharks, with night dives revealing octopus, dwarf cuttlefish and bobtail squids.
Halik Reef on north Gili T is perfect for drift dives, with shallow bommies, antler coral and a small wall to 12 metres, home to turtles, octopus, cuttlefish, moray eels and baby white-tip sharks. Deeper ridges feature barrel sponges, soft corals and sightings of reef sharks, stingrays and ribbon eels.
On the north coast of Gili Air, this pinnacle rises from a sandy bottom, home to snake eels and nudis in all colours. Hard corals host juvenile sweetlips, surgeonfish and angelfish, while cuttlefish and big green turtles appear near the top. Perfect for macro lovers.
Two walls on northwest Gili Meno drop to 25 metres, with coral walls home to moray eels, scorpionfish, pipefish and nudibranchs. At night, sponges, decorator crabs, red army shrimp, squid and Spanish dancers make it a spectacular dive.
Manta Point off south Gili Trawangan features beautiful pink cabbage coral between 10 and 15 metres, with reef sharks, sweetlips, snappers and fusiliers adding constant action. Spotting manta, devil or eagle rays is possible but requires luck, making the vibrant biodiversity and coral the real highlight.
Off west Lombok, this shallow muck dive is a night diver favourite, with painted frogfish, decorator crabs, pipefish, coconut octopus and leaf scorpionfish. In the shallows around 5 metres you can spot common seahorses and the occasional mimic octopus.
Secret Reef, between Gili Meno and Air, drops to 35 metres with stunning hard coral pinnacles and is for Open Water divers and up. Lucky divers may spot bumphead parrotfish and eagle rays out in the blue.
Shark Point in northwest Gili T is famous for black and whitetip reef sharks and big green turtles in the shallows from 5 to 12 metres. Advanced divers can explore the Glen Nusa shipwreck, now teeming with snappers, unicornfish, pipefish and nudibranchs.
Simon's Reef, between Gili Meno and Air, features rugged terrain with deep canyons, barrel sponges, soft corals and huge gorgonian sea fans. It is a hotspot for pygmy seahorses and pelagic species, making it a must-see for experienced divers.
Turtle City on north Gili Meno offers incredible encounters with green and hawksbill turtles, set among vibrant coral perfect for photographers. With a pinnacle to 10 metres for beginners and deeper drops to 35 metres, it is great for all levels and full of macro life.
